The Archbishop of Johannesburg, his Grace Buti Tlhagale, has appointed Rev Fr Jean-Marie Kuzituka Did’ho as Chancellor of the Archdiocese.
The principal tasks of the new Chancellor will be to see to it that the acts of the Curia are gathered, arranged and safeguarded in the archive of the Curia. Fr Jean-Marie is also automatically a notary of any acts whatsoever, and a secretary of the Curia, according to Canons 482 to 491 inclusive.
Fr Jean-Marie said: “I thank the Archbishop for his appointment and for the trust he has put in me. I also want to thank the Vicar General, Fr Duncan Tsoke for guidance and advice as a big brother in priestly ministry and in the administration of the Archdiocese,” he said.
Fr Jean-Marie requests the prayer of all as he “humbles himself to serve the church of Johannesburg in his new position.”
